The grapes were harvested October 25th on the Stouck Family Estate Vineyard at average 22.6° Brix. After primary fermentation in an open-top oak vat, the wine was transferred to French and American oak barrels (ratios 2 to 3 French to American and 1 to 5 new to old) to finish malolactic fermentation and age for 15 months.
At the time of bottling in March 2015, alcohol measured 13%, residual sugar zero, titratable acidity 6 grams per litre and pH 3.44. Total production was 120 cases.
