Decoratively perfumed on the nose with traces of candied pineapple, lemon, green tea, clove and lanolin. The texture to the palate is direct and fresh. Flavours point to pink grapefruit, ginger and lychee.
Sourced entirely from our winery Estate vineyard. Harvested October 2nd – 4th, when grape sugars averaged 20.9° brix. Once destemmed and crushed, the juice prior to fermentation was left to soak with the grape skins for 48 hours in stainless steel vats.
When bottled in February 2015, the wine measured 12.7% alcohol, 5 grams per litre titratable acidity, 3.53 pH and no residual sugar.
Total production was 225 cases.
