A distinctive lime-citrus with tinges of meyer lemon, peach, almond and honeysuckle characterizes the nose. Energetic with a mineral tartness, the wine tastes brightly of lemon, grapefruit and cantaloupe.
100% Melon de Bourgorne grapes. Grape sugars averaged 20.9° Brix when harvested September 9th from the Malivoire Estate Vineyard.
Primary fermentation in stainless steel preceded settling and ageing in a steel tank with light lees contact.
Bottling in December produced less than 30 cases available now.
