2016 Riesling Icewine

Winemaker's Notes

On the nose, apricot syrup, pineapple, peach and clementine.The silky, creamy texture is buoyed by playful acidity.  Flavours recall pear, apricot, honey and lime with a mineral strand.

Picked at the Genova Farm Vineyard on January 7th as grape sugars averaged 42 ° Brix. Fermentation and ageing in stainless steel for 4 months preceded bottling in June 2017.

At the time of bottling, alcohol was measured at 10 %, residual sugar 295 grams per litre, titratable acidity 10.5 grams per litre and pH at 3.7.  200 ml / bottle

Quantity bottled was 169 cases.  Enjoy now to 2031.
