2019 Cabernet Franc Icewine

Winemaker's Notes

Lluscious aromas of cranberry, red currant, pear syrup and strawberries with cream.

The texture is rich and bright.  A taste reminds you of strawberry, sugar plum, apricot and caramel-toffee.

Picked at the Koulovassilopoulos Dionisios Vineyard on the night of December 18th, at -8° C.  Grape sugars averaged 39.3° Brix.

After stainless steel fermentation (no malolactic fermentation) the wine was settled and clarified in tank for 4 months and bottled in April 2020. 

Quantity bottled was 128 cases..
