The nose is a sensory fruitcup: candied pineapple, guava, pear nectar, watermelon, grapefruit and lemon-lime, with tomato vine and pepper trimmings.
Zesty, tingly acidity energizes flavours of green apple, lime, gooseberry, pear and honeyed fruits.Harvest: Picked October 12th from a warm-pocket shore-area site north of the winery, as grape sugars averaged 21° Brix.After crushing, destemming and pressing, 95% of the juice cool-fermented and rested in stainless steel, while the remainder was treated in mature French oak.
