This many-scented wine implies orange blossom, violet, candied ginger and anise. With a fresh, zesty mouthfeel, it carries flavours of apricot, marzipan, maraschino cherry and honey.
Picked at the Stouck Family Vineyard as grape sugars averaged 22.5° Brix. After destemming, the juice and grape skins were left to macerate in stainless steel for 24 hours before pressing and cool fermenting in tank. The wine remained in tank until bottled in April, 2018.
At the time of bottling, alcohol measured at 13.5%; residual sugar: 6 grams per litre; titratable acidity:5 grams per litre pH:3.45
Total production was only 135 cases.
Chill to near 11° C and serve with spiced poultry, fish or shellfish.
