Treats the nose to pear, fruit cocktail syrup, lavender and rose petal with a flinty accent. Brightly-textured while refreshingly dry and spicy, it tastes of pink grapefruit, kiwi, honey and ginger.
When harvested September 26th from the Malivoire Winery Estate Vineyard, the grapes’ sugars averaged 22.3° Brix. Fermentation was followed by nine months to age, all in stainless steel.
At the time of bottling in June 2016, alcohol measured 13.5%, residual sugar 0, titratable acidity 4.5 grams per litre and pH 3.33.
Production of only 220 cases.
