Charming scents of pineapple and other tropical fruits, baked brioche, honey and vanilla.
Fresh and softly creamy on the palate, its flavours are reminiscent of honeydew melon, peach, mandarin orange syrup and green apple.
Chardonnay grapes were gathered from our Moira and winery Estate sites at average 22.2° brix. After primary fermentation, 45% of the wine remained in stainless steel while the larger share aged for nine months in French oak puncheons (14% of which were new).
At the time of bottling in July 2016, alcohol measured 13%, residual sugar 1.5 grams per litre, titratable acidity 5.8 grams per litre and pH 3.39.
This vintage will drink well through 2019.
