2023 Stouck Viognier

Last Chance...

Winemaker's Notes

Alluring straw-gold hue and radiant candied fruit and perfume aromas make the first impression.  A deeper draw finds apricot, tropical grapefruit and pineapple, quince, and floral honeysuckle, gardenia and orange blossom.

The mouthfeel is rich and bright with juicy weight, and flavours remind of honeydew melon, baked apple and spice, leaving a fresh, honeyed finish.

Picked October 23rd at the Stouck Family Vineyard as grape sugars averaged 22.5° Brix.

After the grapes were destemmed and pressed, the juice fermented in a chilled stainless-steel tank.  With three months to settle and age, it went to bottle in February 2024.

Enjoy now to 2029.
