A Message About Pricing
As we step into this new year, we wanted to take a moment to openly share a note about our pricing, because transparency always matters to us.
Last year, we separated the mandatory tax and bottle deposit from the listed price of our wine. While not all wineries in Ontario have followed this approach, it reflects our belief in being straightforward with our customers.
This year, we’ll be making adjustments to pricing across most of our wines. On average, that increase will be about $3 per bottle. We don’t make changes like this lightly and have delayed this step for as long as possible. However, it has become necessary to protect what matters most about who we are, how we work, and what we do.
To us, sustainability has always meant more than what happens in the vineyard. It also means caring about the people who grow, make, and share our wines, and ensuring that Malivoire remains thoughtful, responsible, local and viable for the long term. Maintaining this balance of land, people, and business, is part of how we work.
Like many businesses in Ontario, we’re navigating a more costly landscape. Our goal isn’t to take shortcuts, it’s to keep doing things the way you’ve come to expect, with care and intention. Our commitment to quality, sustainability, and our community remains exactly the same.
