Reflections, Resolutions and 'Try' January

January is a time for reflection and sometimes resolutions. Maybe you’re thinking about your health, your finances, or even finally clearing out that cluttered closet.

You may have also heard of “Dry January”, and if you’re in the wine world, it can feel a little like an elephant in the room. But what if we tried something different this year? Enter 'Try January' or the more commonly known terminology,  “Damp January”, a flexible, mindful approach to enjoying alcohol without going to extremes.

Why 'TRY' might be better than Dry:

Flexibility sticks. A completely dry approach doesn’t work for everyone. Choosing moderation, like enjoying a glass on the weekend or the occasional “Wine Down Wednesday” catch-up with friends, could make it easier to maintain.

Moderation works year-round. Being mindful of when and why you drink keeps choices intentional, balanced and personal.

Small changes, big impact. Gentle and easy adjustments are more sustainable than drastic abstinence and can lead to new habits. (James Clear, Atomic Habits, says it best).

At Malivoire, we love wine and we also care deeply about the people and community that make it possible. When you choose to enjoy a glass this month or anytime, we hope it’s one that supports your values: sustainably grown, locally sourced, and crafted to bring joy to your table.

Here’s to being reflective & enjoying just the right amount.😉
