Canada's National Wine Awards
Credit to WineAlign, this year’s NWA was a huge undertaking. A panel of 26 judges assembled in Penticton B.C. to evaluate almost 21-hundred entries submitted by 260 Canadian wineries. To appreciate how this event has grown, consider that in 2001, the original event’s eight judges scored 260 wines from 71 wineries. In its 20 years the NWA has seen an almost four-fold rise in participating wineries and an eight-fold rise in submissions.
