Old Vines Foch has long been a fan favourite, crafted from the now-rare Maréchal Foch grape and celebrated for its deep, dry richness and bold character. It’s one of our most treasured wines.

The 2007 vintage was one of those that every winemaker in Niagara will remember.  "Near drought conditions prevailed through the late summer, particularly in the Niagara Peninsula", as reported in the VQA vintage report.  It goes on to explain, "the lack of precipitation was one of the most influential conditions of the 2007 vintage. The dry conditions created stress on the vines, forcing them to push their roots deeper for water, reduce the vigour of their foliage and direct maximum energy to fruit production. This results in slightly less fruit overall but more complex and flavourful fruit and excellent wine potential."
