2023 Small Lot Pinot Noir

From grapes, hand-picked, 50% from the Mottiar Vineyard, 40% from the Moira Vineyard and 10% from the Malivoire Estate Vineyard.

The grapes were destemmed and vinified separately by site.
Post-fermentation, the wine was pressed and racked to French oak barrels, 5% in first use, to age for ten months. After blending, 444 cases were bottled in August 2024.

At the time of bottling, the wine was measured at 12.5% alcohol, 0 grams per litre residual sugar, 5.8 grams per litre titratable acidity and 3.7 pH.

Best served near 14° C with Coq au vin, braised duck with porcini and semolina or a charcuterie plate of mild cheeses, figs and paté.
