Winemaker's Notes

Composition: 48% Gamay, 43% Cabernet Franc, 9% Pinot Noir.

As you’ve come to expect from Ladybug, it bursts with ripe red berry aromas and flavours: strawberry and cherry, with succulent pink grapefruit and watermelon. It’s full and round, finishing dry, with berry, rhubarb and herbal adornments.

Dry: 2.5 g/L residual sugar

Vinification Notes

Pressed from grapes grown specifically for this wine, picked as Gamay sugars averaged 21.1° Brix, Cabernet Franc 20.9° and Pinot Noir 19.6°.

Grapes were destemmed and vinified separately by variety, including a half-day cold soak. Cold-fermentation and stabilization were completed in stainless steel before blending and bottling in February 2025.

Pairing + Serving

Chill to near 10° C and serve with grilled salmon, trout or shrimp, or soft cheeses like brie or camembert.
