Our original, “happy accident” plantings have increased over the years so that now, we just might be able to supply enough of this rare wine to keep up with demand!

Winemaker's Notes

Composition: 100 % Melon de Bourgogne

Fresh, luminous, trim and linear, this one goes straight to the point, radiating aromas of lime, green apple, cantaloupe and cut celery. Brisk acidity elevates citrus and stone fruit flavours, leaving a clean, saline finish.

Dry: 0 residual sugar.

Enjoy now through 2027.

Vegan friendly.

A Great Seafood Wine

This grape is not grown a great deal in Canada but more wineries should work with it. This wine has pleasing lime and kiwi flavours with wonderful acid. Perfect with seafood. In particular, oysters.

Very Nice Wine !

This wine really has a delightful flavor and aroma. I'm glad I bought it. Since the orange man south of the border started his stupid tarrifs, I've decided to buy only Niagara wines, and support my fellow Canadians. I highly recommend this wine, and the Malivoire Winery. They provided fast shipping and excellent packing, and I will definitely buying more of their product when my supply gets low.

A tarty number

The Melon goes really well with spicey seafood, creamy pasta and curry 😋

an excellent white wine

We have enjoyed the last two lots of melon, the most recent joined what was left of our previous case in our wine cellar. Obviously we tasted a bottle, finding it as good as previously, my wife feels it is slightly sweeter than a Sauvignon blanc but I find it very enjoyable and comparable to a good S. Blanc.
