Winemakers Notes

Nose and mouth find sumptuous ruby grapefruit, strawberry and cantaloupe. Further aromas of candied cherry, honey crisp apple and lilac, and flavours of raspberry and rhubarb abound. The mouth texture is round and smooth, trailing to a zesty, citrusy finish.

Vinification Notes

Hand-picked on a cool early morning from our original Moira Vineyard.

Whole grape clusters were gently pressed for minimal contact between juice and skins. After chilling in a wide-profile stainless-steel tank (resembling a dairy tank) and contact with the gross lees or “bourbes”, the juice transferred twice to standard steel tanks for cooled fermentation. The finished wine was bottled in February 2025.
