2025 Gewürztraminer Icewine (Ice wine)

Winemaker's Notes

“I find the elegance and exotic elements of Gewurztraminer; fresh pineapple comes through, from nose to palate.  I love that it is not overly viscous, but still luscious.”

Glamorous fruit aromas bind apple pie filling, pineapple, apricot syrup and cardamom.  A taste finds it silky and succulent, with flavours of pineapple, mango, apricot and spun caramel.

Picked by hand the hands of our most adventurous club members and staff at the Malivoire Estate Vineyard on the -10° C evening of December 5th.  Grape sugars averaged 38.7° Brix.

Sweet: 225 g/L residual sugar
