There are so many reasons to love the Small Lot Chardonnay. Smooth and satisfying, it is a perfect wine to savour over a great conversation with family or friends. In fact, it’s harder to find occasions where this wine doesn’t fit – it’s simply that versatile and delicious.

Tasting Notes

Pouring pale straw-coloured, it’s clean, fresh, crisp and crunchy. Aromas present white peach, lime zest, quince and shortbread; flavours echo meyer lemon, grapefruit and bosc pear, with a soft, gingery spice holding through the finish.

Dry: 0.5 g/L residual sugar

This vintage will drink well through 2030.

Vinification Notes

Chardonnay grapes were hand-picked from the quartercentury-old vines of our Moira Vineyard site, and chardonnay
musque from the Malivoire Estate.

After pressing, 70% of the juice underwent primary and partial
malo-lactic fermentation in stainless steel. The other 30%,
fermented in older neutral oak barrels, was blended-in three
months later. 396 cases were bottled in August 2025.

At the time of bottling, alcohol measured 12.5%, residual sugar 0.5 grams per litre, titratable acidity 7.6 grams per litre and pH 3.25.

Chill to near 10°C, enjoy beside mandarin salad with crunchy
noodles and almonds, or pineapple chicken with fluffy rice.
