2024 Small Lot Gamay

Clusters from three different blocks of the Malivoire
Estate Vineyard were picked by hand, as grape sugars achieved 21.3° Brix.

Hand-sorted grapes were divided, 25% to ferment in a concrete tank, and the larger share to neutral oak. In both cases, two thirds of the grapes were retained in whole clusters, layered between crushed berries. Post-ferment, the wine was portioned to age for eight months, 15% in mature oak barrels and 85% in steel tank. After blending, 972 cases were bottled in June 2025.

Alcohol measured 12%; 2.0 g/L residual sugar; Titratable Acidity: 6.9 grams per litre; pH: 3.45

Chill to near 14°C and enjoy alongside honey garlic chicken wings, cup ‘n char pepperoni pizza or a savoury grilled cheese sandwich.
